Improvements of the Ridgeline Trail to Tier 3 Urban Trail Standards began in the spring of 2008. This machine-assisted project included the construction of approximately 4,150 linear feet of hand-finished rolling contour trail. Utilizing the Sweco 480 Trail Dozer, TrailArts reconfigured sustainable portions of the existing trail and developed several new trail sections to 6-foot wide natural surface specifications. In addition, another 4,200 linear feet unsustainable social and re-routed trails were closed and re-vegetated. www.springsgov.com
