| High Chaparral Open Space Trail Improvements Phase 1. Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services (TOPS) Department. Prime Contractor Initiated to continue the rehabilitation the High Chaparral Open Space Ridgeline Trail System this project included approximately 600 linear feet of rehabilitation to the Ridgeline Trail and 3,000 linear feet of machine-assisted closure and revegitation of unsustainable and redundant social paths. The addition of new trail segments, further trail closures, and construction of a trailside scenic outlook is planned for 2008. |
